I'm back!

I must admit it has been really difficult keeping up with blog posts and so on! Yinibini Baby has been keeping me really busy, which is a good thing! But alas, a little too busy to write about all of the wonderful things I have been seeing, hearing about and conjuring in the world of baby and design. But, now that I'm in a little rhythm, I can devote some time to write about all of the things I have been storing in my head for the past year! I cannot wait to share with you and baby!

Yinibini Baby Website Launches!

Announcing the launch of yinibinibaby.com! Its been a wonderful first year, catching baby drool with the most stylish Yinibini Baby bibs, helping parents and families choose fabrics for their custom made baby gifts, and shopping for more fabrics! And now that I can offer it all to you online, shopping for Yinibini baby clothing and accessories is easier than ever!

I remember when Yinibini Baby debuted! It was a wonderful Saturday in February last year at ArtSpring, a intimate handmade craft boutique. Since the debut, ArtSpring has carried the entire Yinibini Baby collection of dresses, bibs, burp cloths and crib blankets! Now, I have introduced a wonderful line of hand block-printed tees in baby's favourite characters: Duckie, Turtle, Bunny, Robot, Snail, Lion and more! Check out the Orange Duckie Tee and the Purple Robot Tee below!

I've also introduced the versatile and super cute Pinafore! It can be worn on any side you choose! Great as a breezy top in the Summer and great as a layer in the Winter. Made out of 100% cotton fabric, you can order a custom made Pinafore if you so choose. Just check out the CUSTOM MADE page on www.yinibinibaby.com and follow the instructions. Just take a look at the Pinafore made from the Lollipop fabric collection:

Brandon- The Destroyer

Brandon, The Destroyer, as he is so affectionately called by his parents, is having the best fun in his Yinbini Baby Owl tee and navy blue corduroy pants. These comfortable pieces were a special custom order made just for him!

Yes folks! Handmade Mart is back! On May 23rd, stop by the Yinibini Baby booth to check out discounted deals on Yinibini Baby clothing and accessories. I will also be featuring a whole new collection of Yinibini spring jewelry for women. This year's Handmade Mart will be held on Ellsworth Drive, (between Fenton and Georgia) from 10 am -5pm. Yinibini Baby Debut Updates!!!

Latrice, the blossoming fashionista! She had a wonderful time modelling Yinibini Baby clothing. Check out her pose in the Sunshine Summertime Dress! I think I might have created a monster! lol...She was awesome, and so was Isiah, who rocked the Blue and Green Polka Dot Kimono Top and Big Pocket Pants!!

The Yinibini Baby logo cupcakes were also a hit! Aunt Camille graciously made these cakes. Everyone enjoyed the sweet tooth as they browsed through the cute baby clothes! Sweet!

Fashion Fights Poverty Supports the Yinibini Baby Debut

Of all the awesome things! Fashion Fights Poverty supports the Yinibini Baby debut! Fashion Fights Poverty, is an organization that encourages ethical fashion, and as they so nicely put it on their website, www.fashionfightspoverty.org, "FFP’s mission is to raise awareness for initiatives that encourage and support creative, effective, and sustainable means of challenging poverty. We believe that the industries of fashion, textiles, and design offer unique and effective opportunities for designers, craftsmen and consumers alike to contribute to the alleviation of poverty through trade, skill-building and community empowerment." Nice!

A percentage of proceeds from the sale of Yinibini Baby clothing and accessories during the 3-hour debut on February 27, at ArtSpring (check out the event bar on the left) will go to a FFP supported children's charity. It feels good to give back!

Those of you who may already know of me and my work. I started the Yinibini line about four years ago with clothing and jewelry for women. Yinibini Baby is a wonderful and natural expansion of the line.

Every peice is made in my smoke-free, pet-free studio. I'm involved in the entire process, from start to finish. I research the fabrics, pick fabrics, design, cut, measure and sew. I take pride in my work, and handle each piece with the best of care, so you know you are getting the best!
